You are incredibly brave. Thank you so much for continuing your fight for justice. The ability of malicious actors to destroy a person's life without accountability is terrifying.
Also, thank you Brad for your dogged support for Steve and this case, despite all the ramifications it's had on your life. You are a modern Émile Zola.
Dear Steven, as a long time bookseller, I thought you might like to know that one of your books still sells very well, and that this year, it’s compulsory reading in some schools, somewhere in the world. We keep having to reorder it.
I hope that this difficult ordeal, rather than extinguishing it, will serve as powerful fuel for your creative impulse, and that we will get to read many more new books of yours in the future.
I have deep respect for the self contained and dignified manner in which you have handled this situation. At least in the public arena.
Lastly, forgive my manner of expressing myself, since English is not my first language.
This is a victory for truth over the absurd feminist ideology that claims that women never lie about sexual assault. It was high time for a reality check.
Thank you, Brad, for publishing this. It is part of the insanity of our age that we virtually never get to hear "the other side of the story."
And thank you to Steven Galloway for continuing to fight for justice, in spite of the costs to himself and those closest to him. His victory will be a victory for us all. We can't have a free society unless we have a just society.
It really irks me that the accuser in this case, "A.B.", STILL has her name protected under a publication ban. Why? She needs to be accountable for what she has done to Steven Galloway, and the damage she has done by extension to all legitimate victims of sex crimes.
I read in one on-line article that A.B.’s lawyer, David Wotherspoon, has called the decision of the court for Galloway to pursue justice “unfortunate.” Wotherspoon says that it “leaves us extremely concerned about the impact on survivors of sexual violence and in particular for students, staff and faculty of universities and colleges who may feel less safe about coming forward with concerns.”
Everyone SHOULD feel completely unsafe about coming forward with false allegations of such a serious nature.
All the best to Steven Galloway. May truth and justice prevail.
Mind boggling. Does he really believe she’s a victim? She must be a brilliant actor. Talk about working the system. Brad has really exposed her. I guess not enough people have read him. I hope he writes a book.
Such courage Steven Galloway, it takes a brave person to stand up and continue standing for what is right. We need more of this kind of courage. I am with you in spirit.
So many people have said it so well here already, Steven. But I'm adding my words of support. This entire fiasco should have been handled differently from the get-go, and because it wasn't, you have had to pay the price for almost a decade now. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, but agree that justice will ultimately prevail.
Thank you, Steven, for the strength and fortitude you have modelled throughout these most difficult years. And thank you, Brad, for showing us just how important it is to have a champion in your corner when needed. We can all be that for someone but your dedication continues to move me. Respect.

I hope you get justice Steve.

Good luck and may truthfulness shine brightly.
An excellent statement!

All the best to you, Steven. The truth will shine on through. Good on you. Justice will look awfully good on you.
Steve, I am sending you my best wishes. So great to see your words here! And I am so sorry for what you have been through. All the best.
And of course Brad thank you for your comprehensive, tireless and dedicated coverage.

I can hear the Defendants squirming in the forthcoming trial's witness box all the way from here.
The Supreme Court of Canada today dismissed all applications for leave to appeal the decision of the BC Court of Appeal.

Congratulations. You have a lot of support, sadly most of it invisible.
I met Steven Galloway once before any of this happened. I never believed the accusations and I don’t know why anyone did.
That’s McGechaen, BA UBC
Really want to see justice done, Steven.
